Prof. Jaswal while starting the talk said” the basic rule of happiness in life is not comparing but caring and sharing. Don’t compare your life to others. Comparison is truly the thief of joy. You were born to be a creator not to compete with others for things that have already been created.”

He gave the reference of the world happiness report for 2019, in which a small country Finland is on the top spot, as the happiest country in the world, for the second consecutive year, surveyed by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network. The Happiness Report is based on data from 156 countries about ‘how happy their citizens perceive themselves to be.’ The Happiness Index ranks countries on the basis of questions from the World Gallup poll.

In this report India has dropped down seven spots in the happiness rankings as compared to its 2018 ranking and comes at 140 positions out of 156 nations. India’s overall happiness has dropped worldwide.

Concluding his talk he said that” take time out every day and enjoy the simple things in life. When you think too much about any situation it can rob your precious hours, leaving you indecisive and may even lead you to stress.”

Sanjay Gupta, finance secretary of Patiala Management Association presented a vote of thanks.
