Patiala Media Club dedicated its blood donation camp on Press day to 550 Parkash Purb

Members of the Patiala Media Club on Saturday organized a blood donation camp where 41 units of blood were collected. The members of the press club organized the event on National Press Day and to commemorate the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Patiala Deputy Commissioner was the chief guest at the occasion who inaugurated blood donation camp whereas  the Superintendent of Police Mandeep Singh Sidhu and  SBI GM Subhash Joinwal were guest of honour who honoured blood donors. The guests marked applauded the efforts of Patiala Media Club. The event was organized in collaboration with the SBI.

Vishal Rambani welcomed the guests on the occasion, President Gurpreet Singh Chattha briefed about history and activities of the club  Aman Sood presented vote of thanks. General Secretary Rajesh Panjola senior vice president Manish Sirhindi, Secretary Parmeet Singh also spoke on the occasion.Media personalities along with other guests participated in the blood donation camp.

The Life Line blood collected 41 units of blood donated by the media persons and others. Senior Journalists and the guests also shared their views on National Press Day while senior Journalist Gagandeep Singh Ahuja while speaking on the dias said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji could also be seen as the first Punjabi journalist who penned ‘Babar vani’ that was not less than a journalism.
