Patiala media club elects new office bearers

Patiala Media Club, a club of working journalist in print media, electronic media, web media today elected Parmeet Singh as its President for next year. 11 members of the Governing Council also elected unopposed.
The election process for the selection of new executive body started on April 9,2025, with the filing of nomination for the 12 member governing council, under the supervision of former DPRO’s Ujaggar Singh, Kuljit Singh and PSPCL’s PRO Manjit Singh Chahal as returning officers and assistant returning officers.
14 candidates filled the election forms for 12 member governing council. 2 members withdraw their nominations and all the members of governing council elected unopposed.
The newly elected team of Patiala Media Club, for the year 2025 will be
President : Parmeet Singh (from Jagbani)
Senior Vice President: Mandip Singh Sidhu (from Ajit)
Vice President: Suresh Kamra (from Dainik Savera) and Jagtar Singh
Secy Gen : Kushveer Singh Toor (from Sachkahoon)
Secretary : Gurvinder Singh Aulakh
Treasure : Kulvir Singh Dhaliwal (from Punjabi Jagran)
Press secretary: Rana Rakhra (from Jagbani)
Joint secretaries: Jatinder Singh Grover and Prem Verma (from Dainik Jagran),
Joint secretary (reserved for photojournalist)- Anu Albert (Times of India)
Joint secretary (reserved for electronics)- Kamal Dua
