Patiala police arrest two members of the bambiha gang; recovers 5 pistols with 20 cartridges

Patiala police has arrested two members of the bambiha gan and recovers 5 pistols with 20 cartridges from them.
Giving information, senior superintendent of police, Patiala Varun sharma said “Patiala police in a special operation conducted under the command of Harbir Singh Atwal, SP (investigation) , Raghbir Singh DSP Ghanour, inspector Shaminder Singh, incharge CIA, Patiala and inspector Kirpal Singh SHO Shambhu police station has arrested Tejinder Singh alias Gullu, 26 years is a 1oth pass and a resident of village Abuwal police station Sudhar , district Ludhiana with 5 pistols of .32 bore with 20 cartridges from National Highway at Shambhu in Patiala district . His accomplice Amrik Singh alias Sheru alias Mann , aged 32 years is a 7th passed, resident village Jaimal wala police station Baghpurana district Moga has been arrested after bringing him on production warrant from Faridkot jail. With these arrests a major incident has been averted in the district. Patiala police is going to investigate it further, thoroughly.”
The police has booked Tejinder Singh alias Gullu and Amrik Singh alias Sheru alais Mann under section 25 sub section (7) & (8) arms act at police station Shambhu.
SSP Sharma further added that “ on a tip off SHO Shambhu Tejinder Singh alias Gullu, wanted in several cases is coming from Ambala side with weapons. On checking the police recovered 3 pistols and the police arrested him immediately. The police had recovered the remaining two pistols, during searches after taking him on police remand.

SSP Varun Sharma added that “during investigation, it came to light that these recovered pistols have been ordered by Amrik Singh alias Sheru alias Mann,resident of village Jaimalwala district Moga, who has also been arrested on production warrant on February 4,2023. The police have also recovered two mobile phones being used by him in Faridkot Jail. Amrik Singh has a criminal background as about 10 cases of murder, robbery and extortion etc. had been registered against him in past. ”
