Patiala Police arrested the culprits who thrashed the cops

Patiala police has arrested all culprits, after chasing them. They resisted, but police made the pressure on them to surrender.Later police got success and arrested three culprits who trashed the cops in the morning at Sabzi mandi Patiala.
Earlier in the morning at around 6:15 am, one nihang party led by Balwinder Singh on their Isuzzu vehicle with registration number PB 11 CC 7415 reached at local sabzi mandi on sanour Road patiala.
They injured Insp. Bikkar Singh SHO Sadar Patiala with a sharp weapon as Insp Bikkar Singh tried to intervene .He got injury on his left arm, leg and back. His condition is stable.
An ASI Harjeet Singh got his left hand amputated in the attack. He is refereed to PGI Chandigarh for treatment.
Another ASI Raj Singh got a sharp weapon injury on his left leg.
A Punjab mandi board official AR Yadwinder Singh also got minor injuries in this attack.
Patiala SSP Mandip Singh Sidhu said ” we will register a case against them. But now we are more concerned about the health of our police officer.” He further said that we have contacted and informed the higher authorities at Chandigarh and they had already tied up with the PGI authorities for best medical treatment to the injured cop.
