Patiala police booked a person for impersonating as police official

SSP Patiala Mandeep Singh Sidhu informed that yesterday night patrolling party of PS Urban Estate nabbed one Harpreet Singh S/o Darshan Singh R/o Hno 2 , St no.1 Jagtar nagar, Patiala, who was wearing police uniform.
SSP said that firstly, he told that he is gunman of GS Sahota, IAS currently posted as Special secretary Transport Dept Punjab. But during verification it has been found that he is just a privately hired Driver with said officer and he is not a police official.
Patiala police booked a person for impersonating as police official. Sidhu told that for impersonating as police official and for wearing police uniform we are registering FIR u/s 170/171/419/188 IPC PS Urban Estate Patiala.
