People removed last CM; replace AG/DG –Sidhu

Punjab Pradesh congress committee president Navjot Singh Sidhu has once again raised the issue of removal of newly designated advocate general (AG) Pujab APS Deol and officiating DGP Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota from the post.
In his latest message on social media, he wrote “Demand for Justice in Sacrilege cases and for arrest of main culprits behind the drug trade brought our Govt in 2017 & Due to his failure, People removed the last CM. Now, AG / DG appointments rub salt on wounds of victims, they must be replaced or we will have No face !!”
The state govt is doing its best to pursue Navjot Singh Sidhu to take his resignation back. They had even hired a public prosecutor to represent the state govt in the court and fight the legal battle in sacrilege cases and other special cases related to Bargari, Kotakpura incidents.
The state govt has also forwarded the list of ten senior IPS officers to the UPSC for the selection of DGP.
But, it seems that Navjot singh Sidhu is adamant, to remove the AG and DGP of Punjab.
