PG Diploma Prison Administration and LL.M.(Executive) at RGNUL

The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab in collaboration with Punjab Jail Training School, Patiala is initiating PG Diploma Prison Administration from the session 2021-22. The diploma is designed for the Prison Officers and the staff.
It would introduce the prison personnel to a wide range of perspectives on punishment, criminology and victimology. The curriculum would enhance the understanding of prison employees on matters pertaining incarceration, correction practices and challenges to the criminal justice system of India. The eligibility for admission to the Diploma Course shall be graduation (in any stream) from recognised University on the basis of merit.
The Diploma Course shall follow interdisciplinary approach. RGNUL, Punjab has also launched LL.M (Executive) Programme. Graduate, from any discipline, with minimum of 50% marks selected on merit basis would be eligible for enrolment. LL.M (Executive), for executives and professionals (from diverse fields), explores IPR, Police Studies, Constitutional, Criminal and Administrative Laws. PG Diploma Prison Administration and LL.M.(Executive) courses have been initiated under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, RGNUL, Punjab.
