Plantation Drive at Guru Gobind Singh Baag of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University

The Department of Agriculture at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib organized a plantation drive of guava plants on one acre as a new addition to the Guru Gobind Singh Baag, named after Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.
The drive was launched by Vice Chancellor Prof. Prit Pal Singh, Prof. Sukhwinder Singh Billing (Dean Academic Affairs), Prof. Tejbir Singh (Registrar), Prof. Navdeep Kaur (Dean Research), Prof. Sikander Singh (Dean Students’ Welfare), Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Dhillon (Head, Department of Agriculture), the faculty members and the students of the department of Agriculture.
This initiative has been undertaken to enrich the orchard’s diversity and provide students with valuable hands-on training in fruit cultivation. The Plantation is done in order to promote the university’s vision of a green and sustainable campus.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Prit Pal Singh and Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Sukhwinder Singh Billing congratulated the department for plantation drive and for strengthening the Sri Guru Gobind Singh Baag.
