PNB to organize MSME Loan Mela at Malerkotla

“India’s leading public sector bank Punjab National Bank (PNB) is going to organize a “PNB MSME Outreach Programme-2025″ to strengthening MSMEs, at Malerkotla Club, Malerkotla on February 13,2025” said Rajesh Arora, circle head, Punjab National Bank, Patiala.
He added that the event will be inaugurated by an officer of the district administration, Malerkotla at 10:00 am on February 13,2025
Arora added that the Bank will gave the orientation to existing and aspiring entrepreneurs about various schemes available with the PNB and requirements for availing the loans. As per our expectation, the event will witness an overwhelming response from the existing MSMEs and first-generation entrepreneurs from in and around Malerkotla, as its open for all.

These loan mela will create awareness among the entrepreneurs about bank schemes and they will be able to fulfill their needs as per their requirement.”
Arora said that “by taking this campaign to the people across India, the customers have benefited a lot.”
Classification of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (MSME)
The Central Government has notified the following criteria for classification of micro, small and medium enterprises, namely on July 1,2020:—
(i) a micro enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed one crore rupees and turnover does not exceed five crore rupees;
(ii) a small enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed ten crore rupees and turnover does not exceed fifty crore rupees;
(iii) a medium enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed fifty crore rupees and turnover does not exceed two hundred and fifty crore rupees.
