With the aim of making the students fluent in languages, an online   literary fest was organised by Police DAV Public School Patiala from 7 July to 9 July 2020. The students took a lot of interest in showcasing their talent in various activities. Online competitions were organised for the students to excel their skills and enhance their knowledge regarding languages.

Students of class 3 took part in Collage making of Punjabi Poets wherein they identified the poet’s through pictures. Manreet, Shandil, Amanpreet stood among first three.Students of class 4 exhibited their potential through Collage making of Hindi poets.

Students of class 5 depicted their creativity in Collage making of English poets.  Bikalpa, Yuvraj won laurels.Class 6 students made vocabulary charts beautifully highlighting different words and their meanings.Taj Partap, Janvi and Dipender won prizes for their talent.

Students of classes 7&8 made pop up covers depicting their exceptional ideas and creations. SuhaniRathore, Suhani chauhan, Anmoldeep kaur were the winners.

Students of classes 9 to 12 created Book cover designs on the basis of their imagination and won prizes. Jashanpreeet (9), Meena (10), Amanjotkaur from class 11 and Prabhjot Kaur from class 12 bagged first positions. Jashanpreeet, Suhani won accolades for their creativity.

On this occasion, the school principal MeenaThapar applauded the efforts of the students and staff to make the event a success. She was mesmerized by the impeccable talent exhibited by the students.  She addressed the students virtually and also applauded the efforts of the parents in motivating their wards to progress. She further added that the students must participate in such events inorder to utilise their time productively and improve their skills. Such events help in shaping their personalities. The event ended on an inspiring note.

The events were adjudged by Sukhjit Kaur, Meenaxi and Rachna Sharma and declared the results, today.
