Police DAV Public School Patiala celebrated World Red Cross Day

World Red Cross Day was celebrated today with full enthusiasm in Police DAV Public School,Patiala. A special assembly was organized by Pansy House in which Navita of class X A delivered a speech, highlighting the importance of the day.

First Aid box making competition was also organized on this special occasion in which class VI & VII participated and made beautiful First Aid Boxes. Guests of honour were Kaka Ram (Traffic Marshall), Parminder Kaur Manchanda (Director, Drug De-Addiction Centre Saket Hospital) and  Amrit Pal Singh (Counselor, Drug De-Addiction Centre Saket Hospital) who graced the occasion with their presence. They appreciated the efforts of the participants of first aid box making competition.

Police DAV Public School Patiala celebrated World Red Cross Day

Winners were awarded certificates by them.  Also for the encouragement and appreciation of the toppers of session 2018-19, certificates were given to the students from classes III to IX. Kaka Ram guided the students to help others always for the sake of humanity and unity.

Parminder Kaur Manchanda congratulated the students on their achievements and shared her joy on the success of X & XII board results.  School Principal, Meena Thapar presented token of gratitude, a mementos to guests and shared her valuable words of wisdom.
