A virtual webinar  was organised by Police DAV Public School Patiala for the faculty of the school on Online Safety, today. The webinar was conducted by Dr. Damanjit Sandhu, Associate Professor, Punjabi University Patiala.

During the session she highlighted the need of using online apps wisely and attentively.  A PPT was also shown in this regard. She emphasized that parents must be aware about what their children are doing and which apps they are using often. She further stressed that teachers can guide their students about online safety during their classes and warned about the consequences of misusing them. During lockdown children become depressed, anxious, stressed, etc that proves fatal sometimes. They should be guided by their parents who in turn must show faith and trust in them. Teachers are their Guru, who can completely influence their personalities. So, they themselves should also be updated with the technical aspects.
