Police DAV School Patiala chooses its new school Cabinet

The investiture ceremony of Police DAV Public School Patiala, for the academic session 2019-20, was held in the school premises on 18 May 2019,investing its outstanding students as office bearers. The ceremony was conducted with a high degree of enthusiasm and sincerity.
The occasion was graced by the Meena Thapar, Principal Police DAV Public School, Patiala, along with the senior teachers. Police DAV Public School has always moved ahead with a vision of inducing a sense of responsibility and leadership qualities in its students and giving badges and responsibilities is a step further in this direction.
The ceremony took off with lots of zeal & enthusiasm. It commenced with the invoking the blessings of the Almighty with the Shabad recitation followed by the school song.Later badges and sash were given to the elected members of the students council-head boy-Jobanpreet Singh, head girl-Harkiran Kaur, house captains-Diya ,Sunmukhdeep Singh (Jasmine House), Navita,Jaskaran Singh (Pansy House), Shail, Harshdeep Singh (Tulip House), Nishu, Aman (Zinnia House) ,school prefects-Nancy, Bipanjeet Singh, discipline incharge-Sonia, Avideep Singh.Later the members pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. The school head girl delivered vote of thanks on behalf of the student council.
The Principal Meena Thapar congratulated the newly elected student’s council and guided them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
