Postal Division opening IPPB accounts, holders paying PSPCL bill thru IPPB App

A few days ago this division has celebrated Digital India Anniversary, and a special campaign in this regard was organised in all Post Offices under Patiala Postal Division.  For the awareness of General public about Digital Services and opening of IPPB accounts in the rural areas special contest was organised throughout India “Kaun Banega Bahubali”.

As per instructions of Department of Posts, another campaign “मेरा अभिमान सक्षम ग्राम” for encouraging Gramin Dak Sewaks by awarding them with prizes and rewards, with a sole aim of spreading awareness regarding digital transactions among people residing in the Rural Areas

In this context Bhupinder Singh Branch Post Master Village Devinagar and Sukhjinder Singh, Branch Postmaster Village Dhingi of Patiala District has covered both the villages under the project “मेरा अभिमान सक्षम ग्राम”.  Both the Branch Postmasters have completed this task very efficiently. In the present digital era, native of both the villages are made capable to do their digital transactions themselves.  Branch Postmaster Devinagar has opened 290 accounts and Branch Postmaster Dhingi has opened 245 accounts in their respective villages.  Now, all the IPPB account holders are making payment of PSPCL Electricity Bills, Recharge of mobiles/DTHs, and replenishment of RD and Sukanya Samridhi accounts through IPPB mobile App.
