PPSC Successfully Conducts Written Examination for PCS Register-C and Register-A-2: High Turnout Noted

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) successfully conducted the Punjab Civil Service (Executive) written examination today in Patiala. Out of 957 eligible candidates, 750 candidates appeared for the exams, marking a 79% attendance rate.
PPSC Chairman Jatinder Singh Aulakh reported that the examination for PCS Register-C and Register-A-2 was conducted with stringent security and identification measures in place. He emphasized the Commission’s commitment to transparency and security, ensuring the integrity of the examination process.
PPSC Secretary Examination Devdarshdeep Singh reiterated that the Commission maintained full transparency and adhered to all confidentiality and security protocols. The measures included extensive security arrangements and rigorous candidate identification processes.
Candidates praised the strict and secure conduct of the examination. Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal, DSSO Varinder Singh Tiwana, teacher Pushpesh Kumar from Bathinda, DFSC Faridkot Vandana Kamboj, Food Supply Law Officer Gurmeet Singh, CDPO Supreet Kaur, ACFA Rakesh Kumar, Superintendent Navdeep Gupta, School Principal Parmal Singh, and Soil Conservation Officer Sunam Gurdevak Singh were among those who commended the PPSC for its efforts. They noted that the exam was conceptual, analytical, and competitive, mirroring the standards of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Contrary to past rumors of exam paper leaks, candidates confirmed the transparency and strictness of this exam. Candidates were admitted to the examination center only after multiple verification, including videography, barcode scans, and fingerprint verification, akin to the protocols followed by UPSC. This adherence to high standards has bolstered the confidence of candidates in the PPSC’s examination process.
