Pre 2024 test’s date sheet announced by Punjab govt; litmus test for all parties

Punjab government has announced the Municipal Corporation elections in Patiala, Phagwara (in Kapurthala district), Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and Amritsar. Punjab has 13 municipal corporations and elections are going to be held in only 5 MCs.
The local bodied department elections are scheduled for the first half of November as per the official notification.
These elections are going to be a litmus test for the regional, national parties as 2024 parliamentary elections are going to be held in March-April 2024
