Preneet Kaur aide appointed Punjab Mahila Congress President

Gursharan kaur Randhawa, a close aide of Congress MP and wife of former chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh, Preneet Kaur has been appointed as President of Punjab Mahila Congress.
She is a grass root level worker of the congress. She was the youngest elected chairperson of Zila parishad in 2002. She remained chairperson Zila Parishad, Patiala during the first tenure of Capt Amarinder Singh in 2002. She remained vice president of Youth wing of the congress when Vijay Inder Singla was the Punjab Youth Congress president. In the second tenure of Capt Amarinder Singh, she was appointed Chairperson of Punjab social welfare department in 2018.
