PRTC bus goes missing in floods

As per available information, a PRTC bus number PB 65 BB 4893 has been missing since July 9,2023. The said bus left the Chandigarh depot for Manali on July 9,2023 at 2:40 PM
The said bus had gone missing from Manali. Few hours ago someone had posted a video on social media, located the bus. The bus was located after the water receded in the Beas river. The dead body (yet not confirmed by official) has been recovered. The whereabouts of conductor is not known.
On the condition of anonymity, a senior officer of the PRTC said,” yes, one of our bus was missing. As per reports, the bus reached Manali and there were no passengers in the bus, only bus driver and conductor is there in the bus. Our MD is taking up the matter with the IG, Patiala, to take it further with Himachal Police.”
When contacted the MD PRTC, Vipul Ujwal , he said “ if you want to know about the bus incident, then I’ll call you back “
