PSPCL Amritsar circle started 2024 with a bang: Rs 64.20 crore recovered from government departments

Er Rajeev Prashar, deputy chief engineer, Punjab state power corporation limited (PSPCL), Amritsar (urban) informed that under the supervision of border zone chief engineer Er Satinder Sharma, a pending payment of Rs 64.20 crore has been recovered from government departments based in Amritsar. The team made tremendous efforts, did liaisoning with them and recovered the pending powercom payment.
He added that during the last 3 days, a total amount of 7.96 crore rupees was collected from the local bodies department.
A total amount of Rs 9.60 crore rupees was collected from 121 cases under Civil Line division. A total amount of Rs 8.10 crore rupees was collected from 106 cases under Industrial Division.
A total amount of Rs11.49 crore rupees was collected from 223 cases under Hakima Gate division. Similarly, a total amount of Rs 37.25 crore rupees was collected from 575 number cases from urban area.
Also from 10 cases Rs 97.95 lacs were collected from Jandiala division. In another case Rs 11.36 crore were collected from West Division from 2 cases.
Similarly, from 20 cases under Suburban division total amount of Rs 1.02 crore rupees were collected. Under east division from 225 cases a total amount of 13.59 crore rupees were collected. Thus, from 257 cases, Rs 26.95 crore were collected from suburban area
