PSPCL CMD Sran paid obeisance at Golden Temple
Amritsar-After assuming the charge as Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) ,PSPCL recently at Patiala, Er.Baldev Singh Sran Chairman PSPCL along with his wife Baljit Kaur pay obeisance at GOLDEN TEMPLE Amritsar and pray to Almighty to bless him to serve the people of Punjab in a excellent manner . Er.Baldev Singh Sran and his wife BALJIT KAUR honoured at Information Centre SGPC Amritsar. Er.Sandeep Kumar Chief Engineer Distribution Border Zone,PSPCL Amritsar also accompanied the CMD.
Newly appointed CMD of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) Baldev Singh Sran retired from PSPCL as chief engineer,having 35-years of experience ,working in different positions in the power corporation, before joining as CMD. He remained the president of PSEB engineers association for five years.
He has taken the charge of CMD PSPCL from A Venu Prasad, an IAS officer. Prasad was deputed as CMD,PSPCL after the formation of Capt. Amarinder Singh led Congress Government in Punjab in March 2017.
It was for the first time that the Punjab government has conducted interviews for the post of the CMD, PSPCL and Sran became the first CMD to clear the interview.
