PSPCL director resigns after around five months of appointment

Hira Lal Goyal, director commercial, Punjab state power corporation limited (PSPCL). He was appointed in March 2025.
As per available information he has resigned from the post on August 7,2025 on health grounds. Till date his resignation is not accepted by the appointing authorities.
Confirming the same, Goyal said ” the doctor has advised me some health related precautions and rest. After consultation, i have decided to put up my papers.”
He was appointed as director commercial for two years.
Born on June 5, 1966, Er. Hira Lal Goyal joined PSEB on November 2, 1989, and has since amassed 35 years of experience across multiple domains, including distribution, Grid O&M, stores, planning, thermal, hydel, enforcement, technical audit, HR at PSTCL, and planning at PSTCL.
