PSPCL issues advisory to avoid fire incidents in wheat fields; helpline number released

A spokesman of PSPCL has appealed to the farmers to inform nearest PSPCL offices in case they find any loose electricity wires or notices any sparking in transformers in their area.
Spokesman also informed the consumers that they can also register their electricity complaints on the helpline numbers 9646106835 and 9646106836 which will be function for 24 hours. Consumers can also register their complaints on whatsapp number 9646106835.
Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has also made an appeal to the farmers of the Punjab to cut one marla of wheat around the transformer beforehand. The 10 meter radius around the transformer in the field should be made wet so that even if a spark falls, it can prevent fire.
