PSPCL management is giving step motherly treatment to accounts cadre- JAC Accounts cadre

The Joint Action Committee –Accounts Cadre of PSEB Accounts Audit & Administrative Services Association (Regd.) and Officers (Accounts) Association is holding continuous dharna/rally from 23-11-2021 onwards at Patiala and respective Zone headquarters throughout Punjab in support of their demands and decided to proceed on mass leave from 23-11-2021 and the same extended till 03-12-2021 and not to do any work relating to payments, accounts etc even from their houses.
The PSPCL management is giving step motherly treatment to accounts cadre.
The PSPCL in MOM dated 17.11.2021 has agreed to allow higher initial start to JEs which is more than AAO (which is promotional post from DA/RA), whereas the scales of JE category always remained lower than DA/RA since inception of PSEB (Now PSPCL/PSTCL). PSPCL has agreed to allow initial start Rs. 18690 plus one increment and to place JE in Group-15 from the existing group-13 and has ignored DA/RA already in Grioup-14. Similarly, PSPCL has allowed compensation of Rs 5500/- to a large cadre of AEs and ignored very small cadre of AOs. The PSPCL management is not allowing TBPS to DA/RA, AAO who joins the respective posts by passing specialized examination and these are cadre induction posts.
The induction level to promoted AOs has also not been allowed. PSPCL management under the garb of so called rationalization has stopped the promotions of accounts cadre only. A large number of regular promotion are being given to technical cadres where rationalization is also applicable.
A large number of associates from whole Punjab participated in the rally from 23-11-2021 at Patiala. The PSPCL management has not given any meeting at CMD level to the JAC-AC for discussion of demands till today.
The stubborn attitude of the PSPCL management regarding non giving schedule meeting at level of CMD and non- fulfillment of genuine demands of accounts cadre was condemned and Association decided till the demands not met with, the members of accounts association will remain on mass casual leave and dharna/rally will be continued.

The JAC-AC requests PSPCL management to immediately fulfill genuine demands of accounts cadre with immediate effect.
