A Hindi play ‘Pukar’ Successfully  presented by Smile and Hope, Jaipur (Rajasthan) on the fifth and final day of the fourth “Norah  Richards” Theater Festival dedicated to Ajmer Singh Aulakh, organized by Sarthak Rang Manch, Patiala in collaboration with the North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala . The play was directed by Gaurav Bhatt and written by  Tapan Bhatt.

The drama showed how people in our civil society kill their own children to defend their false dignity and hollow splendor. The only fault they have is that they choose their own spouse. Apart from this child marriage and nitya practice were also goodly satirized.

Among the artists, Vishal Bhat, Anaprana Sharma, Akhil Chaudhary and Ashutosh Parrikar played their roles in their own characters very effectively. Artists like Shivendra Sharma, Rimzhim, Dialogue Bhatt, Vishnu Sain etc. have also done justice to their characters.

In the end, the festival director Dr. Inderjit Kaur thanked the visiting team, the visiting guests and the audience for making this festival  successful. On this occasion Er. Kuldeep Kumar Garg, Chief Engineer , Er. Pardeep Singh Lotey,  Er. Manjeet Singh, Yogesh Gambhir, Kirpal Kajak, Dr. Kamlesh Uppal, Dr. Balbir, Harjit Kainth were present.
