Punjab BJP appointed seasoned journalist as its media incharge

Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has revamped its media cell and appointed Journalist social activist Jasmine Sandhawalia as its media incharge in Punjab.
Her appointment was announced last week by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Hailing from a farming family in Kapurthala, she did her schooling from Went to Convent Of Jesus and Mary Waverley Mussoorie Dehradun, graduation from St. Bede’s college, Shimla. She is a postgraduate in journalism from University of California, Los Angeles, and has had stints with The Times of India, The Tribune and Doordarshan.
She also had working experience with political parties. In 2018, BJP former alliance partner shiromani akali dal (SAD) president Sukhbir singh Badal engaged her,to build up party image, after the debacle of SAD in 2017 assembly elections. In this elections SAD slipped to third position.
Punjab BJP appointed seasoned journalist as its media incharge. Sandhawalia has good equation with member parliament from Patiala Preneet Kaur. She also handled her election campaign.
