Punjab excise and taxation department has promoted 5 assistant excise and taxation commissioner (AETC’s) to the rank of deputy excise and taxation commissioner (DETC’s) and 17 excise and taxation officers (ETO’s) to the rank of assistant excise and taxation commissioner (AETC).

Those promoted to the rank of DETC are Surinder Singh Channi, Hardeep Kaur Bhawra, KS Chahal, Sangeeta Sharma, Paramjit Singh
