Punjab gets new Vigilance Bureau chief

Punjab government has deputed Varinder Kumar IPS (1993 batch) as the new chief director vigilance bureau. He replaces Ishwar Singh.
Ishwar Singh, a 1993-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, was appointed as the State Vigilance Bureau Chief Director in January 2022.
