To provide advanced professional coaching to students for various examinations, the State Government is all set to open Punjab Training and Employment Centre at Nangal at a cost of around Rs. 3 crore.

Giving further information, Deputy Commissioner, Rupnagar Himanshu Jain said that coaching and professional assistance will be provided to the students for various tests and examinations including police, CAPFs and armed forces and railway forces. Apart from this, students will also be trained in other subjects to make them employable.

Himanshu Jain further said that the Punjab Youth Training and Employment Centre will also focus on the basic foundations required for successful employment such as discipline, honesty, loyalty and character qualities besides physical fitness.

It is a matter of pride that no incident of drug abuse or indiscipline has been observed among the 2.44 lakh youth trained from such centres, he added.

He urged the youth, especially the younger generation of District Rupnagar, to take full advantage of this facility so that they can be prepared for a prosperous future.
