Punjab govt appointed Manjit Singh Nijjar as Hony Coordinator of NRI Affairs

Vice President of Guru Nanak Dev University Alumni Association and NRI of the of the year from U.K. Manjit Singh Nijjar appointed as an Honorary Coordinator of Department of NRI Affairs by Govt. of Punjab
Nijjar is involved in international humanitarian projects in the developing countries, working on education, health and environment in Punjab and facilitated many international MOUs and collaborations at Guru Nanak Dev University. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Jaspal Singh Sandhu appreciated his efforts and contribution towards Guru Nanak Dev University and congratulated him on the appointment and wished him success in a new role with the Government for connecting Punjabi Diaspora with Punjab.
Nijjar appreciates GNDU for giving him due to recognition for his dedication. He extends his gratitude to Chief Minister, Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh and NRI Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi for providing this opportunity and responsibility for contributing towards socio-economic development of Punjab.

Punjab Government NRI Affairs department job is to coordinate with the NRI’s and solve their issues pertaining to redressal of the grievances of the NRIs.
