Punjab govt suspends state’s high profile officer

Punjab government has issued a suspension order of a senior officer of Housing and Urban Development Department, Punjab, Pankaj Bawa.
Pankaj Bawa is state’s Chief Town Planner and is working in Housing and Urban Development Department. This action has been taken under Rule for (1) (a) Punjab Civil Services 1970 Rules. During this period, the suspended officer’s headquarters will be Director Town and Country Planning Punjab.
It is not clear in which case Bawa has been suspended.
