Punjab govt terminated the services of Punsup’s vice chairman

Punjab government has terminated the services of Krishan Chand Budhu, vice chairman of Punsup.
Notification about his termination of services has already been issued. No reasons have been given for termination, in the notification.
Krishan Chand Budhu is also a municipal councilor from Patiala. Last week he met the newly appointed Punjab Pradesh congress committee president Navjot Singh Sidhu and handed over a complaint letter to him. He leveled serious allegations against the Patiala municipal corporation mayor, his colleagues-municipal councilor. He even leveled charges of non-cooperation, ignorance on member parliament Preneet Kaur, Punjab chief minister daughter Jai Inder Kaur.
When contacted Krishan Chand Budhu, he confirmed that he has got the termination orders. He further said, ““I have been punished for speaking the truth. I’m rewarded for raising a question on the working of municipal corporation, Patiala.”
On Tuesday (August 3,2021) the district congress committee (DCC) along with various senior congress leaders of Patiala held a press conference where some leaders made counter-allegations against Budhu.
The orders have been released from the office of Rahul Tiwari, secretary, food, civil supplies and consumer affairs department, upon directions of the office of the governor.
