Punjab govt to recruit “War Hero martyrs” kin under direct quota scheme

Punjab government is going to recruit the kins of war heroes, disabled, and martyrs after the Kargil war, under its direct recruitment scheme.
The government has asked the special principal secretaries, additional chief secretaries, financial commissioners, principal secretaries, administrative secretaries to make a list of vacant seats of group A,B,C posts to be filled under direct quota scheme.
Punjab government has convened a high powered committee meeting on October 25, 2021 under the chairmanship of chief secretary, to discuss the matter.
