Punjab IAS officer on central deputation gets key department; 35 officers transferred

Isha, lAS officer of 2009 batch, Punjab, who had recently joined as Joint Secretary on central deputation has been given the posting in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, an overall tenure of 5 years upto 30.07.2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from Director level to Joint Secretary level.
News Portal royalpatiala.in was the first to announce Isha, an IAS officer of Punjab cadre, had been empanelled for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre (Initial).
