The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment 65 Indian Police Service officers for holding the post of Inspector General (IG) or Equivalent at the Centre.
From Punjab S. Bhoopati, 2007, IG, Provisioning has been empanelled to hold the post of IG or equivalent at central govt.
