Punjab needs an experienced govt-Manish Tewari

Anandpur Sahib member of parliament Manish Tewari has said that Punjab needed an experienced government and only Congress can provide the same.
While addressing a ‘Meet the Press’ programme at local Press club on Thursday.Tewari said that there might be noise of any party in the state but the Congress would get good yield of votes as it had fielded strong candidates.
He said that Congress had good organisational structure in the state to turn election campaign in to votes adding that although confusion was prevailing due to multi corner contests this time unlike straight contest between Congress and .Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP alliance in previous elections,he was sure that people of the state would bless the Congress this time.
Tewari said that he was of the firm opinion that if any experienced government was not formed in Punjab,which had no understanding of the ground realities of the state then Punjab would have to face lot of problems in the future.
“Challenges before Punjab were different from other states and he was foreseeing a bleak future of the state if we choose an in experienced government”,Tewari said. while referring to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP),which is making spirited effort to wrest power from Congress in the state.
He said that there should not be any politics over the Hindu-Sikh unity, religious sentiments and issue of river waters in the state.
He appealed to the people of Rupnagar district to ensure the victory of chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi from Chamkaur Sahib,Punjab assembly speaker Rana KP Singh from Anandpur Sahib and Punjab youth Congress president Barinder Singh Dhillon from Rupnagar constituency..
Punjab Large Industrial Development Board chairman Pawan Dewan was also present on the occasion.
