Punjab pensioners health privilege card launched at Shalby hospital

Punjab Pensioners Health Privilege Card was launched by Karam Singh Dhinoya the president of Pensioners Welfare Association and Satpal Singh Gambhir CAO and Unit Head of Shalby multi-specialty hospital, Mohali on Tuesday.
Among others, Brijesh Singh Bisht, DGM and Richa Gupta lead corporate business of Shalby hospital were also present during occasion.
Speaking during occasion, Satpal S Gambhir said that through this card the members of Pensioners Welfare Association can avail special privileges and priority among patients besides discounted rates on OPD, lab and diagnostic, and total bill payment (IPD) at Shalby Hospital.
During occasion, Dr. Muninder Singh Randhawa, urologist at Shalby talked about the Thulium laser facility which is now available at Shalby.
He said , Thulium laser is fast emerging as a safe and effective modality for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Comparing, to holmium laser transurethral enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) the number of institutes all over the world using Thulium laser are limited, he pointed out.
It is proclaimed to be the safest and most effective laser in term of blood loss, the speed of tissue resection and versatility of prostatic resection, he maintained.
