Punjab PWD group A officials contribute Rs. 70 lakh to CM COVID RELIEF FUND: Singla

Punjab public works minister Vijay Inder Singla, on Monday, thanked group A engineers and architects for contributing their one week salary to Punjab CM COVID Relief Fund to boost the fight against coronavirus in the state. The cabinet minister said that the officers contributed around 70 lakh which would be used for the welfare of people by the state government. He also appealed others to follow the suit and donate generously to the fund.
Cabinet minister said that donations to the COVID Relief Fund account could be done electronically through various payment gateways facilitating quick and easy transfer. He also shared details of Punjab Chief Minister Covid Relief Fund’s saving Account No: 50100333026124, IFSC Code HDFC0000213, Swift Code: HDFCINBB and Branch Code: 0213 for digital contributions.

Vijay Inder Singla said that Punjab government led by Captain Amarinder Singh has already started free distribution of ration to laborers, daily wagers and other needy people at village and ward level. He also appealed the people not to step out of their homes as door to door supply of essentialities is being ensured by the state government.
