Punjab State Convention of Sahkar Bharati will be held at Jindwari on Aug 31

Third Punjab State Convention of Sahkar Bharati Punjab, would be organized on held at Jindwari Village ,Tehsil Nangal, Rupnagar district on August 31.
While talking to media persons Sahkar Bharati Punjab State President Balram Das informed that Sahkar Bharati is continuously working for the sustainable economic development of the poor, underprivileged, marginalized, unorganized, Dalits, exploited, and economically weaker sections of society. The primary objective of this convention is to strengthen the cooperative movement, bring cooperative institutions together, and make members aware of new policies and opportunities. He emphasized that through this convention, the spirit of cooperatives will be given a new direction.
The highlight of the convention is that the Governor of Punjab will grace the event as the Chief Guest. His esteemed presence will not only enhance the prestige of the occasion but also play a vital role in encouraging the cooperative movement.
District President Tikka Yashvir Chand stated that Sahkar Bharati has achieved several significant milestones over the past years, including reducing registration fees for cooperative institutions, awareness campaigns for farmers and laborers, women empowerment initiatives, strengthening cooperative banks, and skill development programs. He also shared that distinguished national-level guests will attend the convention to provide a fresh vision for taking the cooperative movement to new heights.
District General Secretary Prem Bhardwaj presented a detailed outline of the convention, which will consist of four special sessions:
- First Session: Flag hoisting & ceremonial lamp lighting
- Second Session: Addresses by chief guests & felicitation ceremony
- Third Session: Special workshops on cooperatives, marketing, skill development, and self-employment
- Fourth Session: Valedictory ceremony with discussions on organizational achievements and future plans
This historic convention will also witness the presence of Sahkar Bharati’s National Patron F.N. Thaku, National President Prof. Uday Joshi, and several other senior office-bearers. Additionally, experts from the fields of cooperatives, marketing, skill development, and entrepreneurship will share their insights with the members, introducing them to new opportunities and innovative ideas.
