Punjab to establish first of its kind 7D Auditorium to Showcase Shaheed Udham Singh’s Legacy-Arora

In a landmark initiative to preserve and promote Punjab’s glorious freedom struggle heritage, the state’s first state-of-the-art 7D auditorium will be established in Sunam, the birthplace of revolutionary Shaheed Udham Singh Ji. The ambitious project, costing Rs.21.17 crore, will allow present and future generations to immersively experience the sacrifices made during India’s independence movement.
Cabinet Minister Aman Arora laid the foundation stone of the project recently, which includes complete upliftment and modernisation of existing memorials dedicated to Shaheed Udham Singh Ji in Sunam.
The upgraded complex will feature Punjab’s first cutting-edge 7D auditorium, Modern entrance gates, Musical fountain depicting the map of India, Cafeteria for visitors, Replica of the ‘Bloody Well’ of Jallianwala Bagh, 20-foot brass statue of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, Eternally lit torch (mashaal), State-of-the-art museum to properly conserve the mortal remains of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji (currently kept in a college almirah) along with historical artefacts and Two grand memorial gates in honour of the martyr.
While laying the foundation stone, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that“The Punjab Government is committed to connecting the present and future generations with the glorious history of our freedom fighters. Through this unique project, the unparalleled sacrifice and valour of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji will be presented in a modern and engaging manner. This 7D auditorium and upgraded memorial complex will not only honour the martyr but also inspire countless visitors to draw strength from our freedom struggle heritage.”
He said that the project was poised to become a major tourist and educational attraction, highlighting Punjab’s pivotal contribution to India’s freedom movement.
