Punjab water resources Director Power plant gets additional charge of another crucial post

Punjab government has given the additional charges of Director Dam Spillway to Rahul Inder Singh Sodhi.
Rahul Inder Singh Sodhi presently holds the charge of Director Power Plants, Punjab in state water resources department.
As per available information, a spillway is a structure used to provide the controlled release of water downstream from a dam or levee, typically into the riverbed of the dammed river itself. A spillway is located at the top of the reservoir pool.
