Punjabi university CSE department organizes interactive alumni talk

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Punjabi University, Patiala organized an interactive Alumni Talk here today in collaboration with SAP Labs, Bangalore. Prof. B. S. Ghuman presided over the function. Prof Ghuman said that a strong alumni base of an institution and the association of alumni with their alma mater is of great importance. He highlighted that Engineering departments of Punjabi University, Patiala have achieved 100% placement in the last placement season.
Dr. Raman Maini, the convener of the program and Head of the Computer Science and Engineering Department enumerated the achievements of the University as well as his Department. Rahuldeep Attri, Vishali Seth, Shubhangi Sharma, the distinguished alumni of Computer Science and Engineering Department, Punjabi University, Patiala who are presently working in SAP Labs, Bangalore shared their experiences with the students. They informed the students to learn various ins and outs of placement tests and interview sessions. It is pertinent to mention here that SAP Labs is visiting the Punjabi University, Patiala for placement of engineering graduates this month. Many other companies too will visit the campus for placement drive.
Students who are going to pass out in 2021 and 2022 from the Department took keen interest in interaction with the alumni. It provided the useful insights to the students for cracking the placement test and interview sessions for upcoming placement drives.
The session started with the presentation by Dr. Dhavleesh Rattan. He highlighted the initiatives and achievements of the Department in collecting the information about the alumni. Prof. Navdeep Kanwal coordinated the whole event. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Gurpreet Singh.
