Punjabi University Finishing School conducts e-conclave
The Punjabi University’s ‘Finishing School’, newly established by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. B.S. Ghuman for the university students to ‘updating their knowledge on innovative ideas and best practices for transforming them to suitable careers’, organised first-of-its-kind e-Conclave on “Entrepreneurship: Innovation and Challenges” in the University’s science auditorium, here today. The conclave was presided over by Vice Chancellor Dr. B.S. Ghuman and was attended by around 300 students from various departments of the University.
Dolly Bhasin, Managing Director, Incuspaze & SPH Consultancy and Vivek Atray, former IAS officer, currently working as CEO Mentor and inspirational speaker were the keynote speakers for the event, while some academicians, successful entrepreneurs and alumni from Punjabi University participated in the subsequent panel discussions for appraising students about the challenges and opportunities in such initiatives.
The conclave covered the aspects of social, business and knowledge entrepreneurs and appraised the participants about various traits required for successful and sustainable conduct of business, viz. inspiration, innovation and integrity. The resource persons also covered the issues concerning innovative thinking, along with legal and human resource aspects.
