Railways enters finals of senior national women’s cricket tourney

Railways have entered the finals of the IDFC First Bank senior women’s one day trophy elite 2025-26 cricket tournament.

In the semi-final played at government college cricket grounds Rupnagar on February 26,2026 ,Railways defeated Chhatisgarh by 27 runs.

Railways won the toss and elected to bat. They piled up  173 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 50 overs.Bhavana Goplani top scored with 65 runs while Arushi Goel scored  51 runs.Mahak Narwase took 3 wickets for  26 runs for Chhatisgarh.

In reply Chhatisgarh team was all out for 146 runs in 49.5 overs. Neha Badwaik  scored 38 runs while Mahak Naswase scored 35 runs.Poonam took  3 wickets for 28 runs while Tanuja Kanwar took 2 wickets for 37 runs.

Bhavana Goplani of Railways was adjudged player of the match.
