Raj Kanwar of YPS Patiala bought laurels for India

An ace shooter of Yadavindra Public School, Patiala once again bought laurels to the school by winning several International and State level medals. Raj Kanwar Singh Sandhu is the student of class XII is true example of perfection, persistence and hard work. He already has a bag full of medals and trophies. Recently, he added several more to them.
This young shooter participated in Junior World cup held at Suhl, Germany. He played Under-21 category and clinched 2 Golds in 25m Standard Pistol and 25 m Rapid Fire Junior round and a Bronze medal in 25 m Pistol Junior Men event.
In an another event, 54th Punjab State Shooting Championship held at Jalandhar, he has won 6 Gold medals in 25m Sports Pistol, 25m Standard Pistol Jr. men, 25m Standard Pistol Sr. men, 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Sr. men, 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Jr. men and 10m Air Pistol Youth men. Along with 2 Silver medals in 10m air Pistol Jr. Men and 10m Air Pistol Jr. men team.
This young player follows a very disciplined lifestyle. “My school and parents have always taught me to be determined towards the goal of your life. Yoga and meditation are the keys to my success”, said Raj Kanwar. After having bag full of medals, he aims to become an Olympic laureate.
