Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law gets new vice chancellor

Prof. (Dr.) Anand Pawar, officiating Vice Chancellor and Registrar handed over the charge of the office to Prof. Jai Shankar Singh, who joined as Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL),Patiala, Punjab.
Prof. Jai Shankar Singh, previously the Dean of Department of Law, University of Allahabad, comes with over two decades of experience, is an expert of International Law and Constitutional Law. Along with law, his research interests are Sociology, Mass communication and Journalism.
After joining his office, he had an interaction with staff and faculty members. In his interaction, he stressed on the importance of interdisciplinary research and a balanced academic approach with a focus on quality.
The fraternity of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL),Patiala welcomed and congratulated Professor Singh upon joining his office.
