Ravneet Bittu’s beloved aide sent to judicial remand; booked by Patiala police in SC/ST Act

Today, the duty magistrate has sent Rajesh Attri, a confident, beloved aide of union state railway minister and BJP leader Ravneet Bittu to 14 days judicial remand.

After the expiry of 2 days of police remand, Patiala police presented Attri at the residence of duty magistrate. The judge sent him to 14 days of judicial remand. After this, Attri is shifted to Patiala Central jail.

Earlier, Patiala police has lodged an FIR at Lahori Gate police station, Patiala under section 3(2) (v) of SC AND THE ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act , 1989 on the complaint of a Lahori Gate resident Ishu without investigating the complaint.

The FIR was lodged at 9:36 am, whereas the family, friends of Rajesh Attri said “Patiala police in civvies came in the morning and takes away Rajesh Attri from his residence at 9:00 am”.

As per the FIR, “the complainant Ishu, a daily wager along with his friends Vishu, Amarpreet were going towards bus stand, Patiala on the night of February 9,2025. At 10:30 when the trio reached at SDKS Bhawan Chowk, Ishu dialed a Whatasapp call number to his relative. But he wrongly dialed Rajesh Attri’s number. After receiving a whataspp call from an unknown number,Rajesh enquired about the person’s identity. When Ishu, the complainant revealed his name, address to Rajesh Attri, Attri used casteist remarks before disconnecting the phone. Than Ishu and his friends checked the number on True Caller and found it is registered in the name of Rajesh Attri. After this he lodged a complaint with the lahori gate police station.

As per the FIR, a complaint is received at 09:09 hrs on February 10,2025 at Lahori Gate police station. Acting swiftly on the complaint of a daily wager Ishu, Patiala police wasting no time, lodges’ complaint, (whose complete address is not given in the FIR), immediately picked up Rajesh Attri from his residence.
