Rayat Bahra Patiala students win laurels in PTU exams
PATIALA: The Rayat-Bahra Group, Patiala Campus students have again done the institution proud by excelling in Punjab Technical University examinations.
Engineering Final Year students namely Varun Sharma (CSE) scored 91.3 per cent, Swarnjeet Kaur (CSE) got 89.6 per cent marks, Dilwal Singh (ME) scored 93.7 per cent, Harminder Singh (ME) 93.3 per cent, Wasif Akbar Lone (Civil) scored 96.4 per cent marks, Sanchit Goyal (Civil) got 96 per cent marks, Shubham Kumar (Civil) scored 96.13 marks, and secured first and second positions respectively in their respective course of Engineering in the final examinations of PTU held in April last.
Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions (RBGI) Gurvinder Singh Bahra said it doesn’t matter how many hours you study, what matters is, what you study and how you grasp and focus your attention to retain the content. He advised the students to value time and be focused on their goal in life.
Campus Director Dr Piush Verma interacted personally with the students and the students shared with him their future plans. Dr Verma said that they have not only secured merit positions but have made their future safe and secure, if they continue their further studies with the same regularity and sincerity.
He said the students had brought glory and glare to their institutions as well as their parents. He congratulated the teachers under whose guidance the students had performed so well. He told them to remain confident for their potential.
