RBSK workshop for the sensitization of Rajindra Hospital Doctors were organised

A sensitization workshop on Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakarm was organised jointly by Civil Surgeon office and Govt. Medical College Patiala at Rajindra Hospital. Under this programme all children aged 0 to 18 years will be provided free treatment covering thirty one diseases which include five Ds (defects / diseases/deficiences/ development delays/disability ), In addition to this chronic diseases which include heart diseases, thalassimia, cancer are provided free treatment at higher institutes like PGI, DMC ,CMC etc.
Principal Govt. Medical College, Dr. K.K. Aggarwal gives strict directions to all Doctors to whole heartdly participate in providing free treatment to poor children and in case of any operational difficulty, contact Dr. Parveen Mittal who is New Nodal officer of RBSK programme in Rajindra Hospital.Civil Surgeon Dr. Harish Malhotra direct all medical fraterinty to adopt humantariun approach in treating these children and allocated funds must be utilized for this purpose.
State programme Dr. Sukhdeep kaur also sensitized all the participants about the latest guidelines of the programme . Senior Doctors from various deptt.of Medical college like Medicine, Eye, ENT, Ortho, Psychaitry, pediatrics and Distt. RBSK team attended this workshop
