‘Red Day’ celebrated in Police DAV Public School Patiala

Red Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Police DAV Public School Patiala today. Children from class Nursery to UKG participated in it.Children dressed in red attire, looked very attractive. On this occasion, children recited many poems and lines related to red colour. This day is celebrated to give information about red colour to children, So that children can get information about various red objects. They also danced to the tunes and mesmerized everyone.
The tiny tots also relished red coloured fruits after identifying them. They were also told about the colour of blood being red and it’s importance in life. They were also told about the colour of heart , an essential organ, also being red.On this occasion, the Principal of the school, Savita Dhankhar , attended the programme and encouraged the children and emphasized on organizing such programs in future as well.
She inspired the students to share knowledge about this colour with their family and friends and spread happiness around.The celebration concluded on a joyous note.
